Osbe represents an itinerary of 30 years of research and experience in the fields of the production of Intercoms system, Motorcycle Helmets, Ski and Snowboard Helmets and last but not least, Motor Racing Helmets.
Osbe, born in 1976, is from then company leader in the field of the communication between helmets. In 1996 the OSBE HELMETS division is set up, specialized in the production of helmets for motorcycle use, followed in 2001 from the OSBE SNOW HELMETS division, dedicated to helmets for the fields of Ski and Snowboard and in the 2006 from the division OSBE APC HELMTS (Advanced Composite Performance), for the Motor Racing field.
Today Osbe is one of the few European companies to being able to boast to the just inner two important know-how: the production of electronics for the intercoms system and the production of helmets (Motorcycle, Auto and Snow), all realized totally in Italy.

Ski Homologation
The helmet represents an individual security device of vital importance in the activity of every persons who practise Alpine Ski, Snowboard, etc, both as an agonistic or normal level
To guarantee the security and the comfort of the helmet is from always prerogative of OSBE.
The Ski helmets are homologated according to the EN 1077 norm, and in addition to that they have a certification with control of production given from a third centre, the CSI-FISI, in order to qualify the helmet to the use during competitions.
The norm include the following tests:
- tests of absorption of hits (with the helmet conditioned to +20°C and -25°C).
- test of resistance to penetration.
- test of dynamic lengthening of the strap.
- retention system test.
The points assign endure the collision are very defined from the norm and correspond to the vital zones of the head of the individual (Frontal, Central superior, Posterior, Lateral DX, Lateral SX). The helmet is made falling from a height that corresponds to one speed of fall of 5,42 m/s.

Therefore it is important that the customer always verifies to wear an helmet equipped with the homologate label, that assures the overcoming of a series of controls in order to verify the respect of such standards of security. 1.to obtain the homologation from the certification authority (as a result of a test on 12 helmets, 6 of the largest size and 6 helmets of the smallest size).
2.production to lots, on which the certification authority makes accidental a withdrawal of 4 helmets on every lots of 1500 pieces, in order to execute the routine control.
The homologate label is nearly an identity card of the helmet and it reveals the characteristics of performance and security of the helmets, therefore it is important to know the reading method.

? HARD SHELL: Made of High Thermoplastic Resin, shells are composite thermoplastic resin mouldings with a high level of shock absorbing features, that are stable and paint resistant
