The Walk is named after a hypothetical journey romanticized by guitarists Xylon and Patrick since they began playing music together. 

Basically, Xylon threatened that some random day he was going to show up at Patrick's house with a guitar in his hand and ask him if he wanted to go on a walk. 

They would proceed to go anywhere and do anything, stopping for smoke breaks and jam sessions along the path. 

The walk epitomized the self-realization of a free spirit. 

Even when life seems to be going well, it can be pointless. 

You can always discard the structure, routine, and predictability of the life you lead and instantly transform yourself into a more spontaneous existence. 

The musical enterprise named The Walk is a tribute to these ideals. 

Their debut album, 'Through All the Frozen People' showcases the band's eclectic range. 

They switch musical styles the way a post-modern mind considers multiple perspectives, coloring their pop/rock songwriting with reggae, jazz, Latin, or any other feel that befits the mood of the song. 

They also switch instruments and lead vocal responsibilities (based on who writes a given song) to ensure 
that their sound never gets too stale. 

Their diverse talents allow them to produce a wide breadth of musical textures, but the music retains a distinctive personality.
